Interpretation of Alice in Wonderland

My curiosity in the psychoanalytical interpretation on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland opens the question of cogency. If the interpretation is pathological label, than my disquiet result in doubting the personal impact of interpreter on interpretation. In my thesis I am planning to overview the previous interpretation of the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with an intention to clarify which interpretation can be psychoanalytically accepted nowadays and which were just personal reflections on the story. On the road to find the answers I await dealing with an uphill struggle to interpret the story of a main character's dream wrote by an author which is already dead. I will help myself with the biographies with awareness of the possible unreal quotations of biographers. I anticipate dealing with difficulties of the dream interpretation model, philosophical question what is relevant and finally find it out why is the interpretation essential for the psychoanalysis. Nevertheless is 'just' a story, fiction of a man who lived far more than 100 years ago. In the end I believe that psychoanalysis is the interpretation of the fantasies and dreams of real or fictional, death or alive subjects, 'lying on the couch' with wish to make unconscious parts conscious.
